"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Hey everyone! It's that wonderful time of the year when most of us get up from our computer desks and head back out into the real world.
School/work/life is coming.
So, for those of you that care to know, here is an update on me personally,my art, and all that good stuff.
As to be expected, art will come slowly because of college work, and actual work. In fact, it should come as steadily as it is now, since this summer was slow due to summer classes. Those of you who posted requests: I will be pulling people's dragons from there from time to time, and draw during my free time. As far as commissions go, I may or may not open them this year. My point commission guide is outdated, so I would need to completely redo that before considering opening commissions. But it could very well happen.
I'm not going to lament or make a speech about the "Core" membership or the higher prices. All I will say is this: I won't be renewing my membership, possibly ever, just because the price is too high for me. I can't afford the luxury of having it, even though I love the features. Maybe in the future I will open up Core Commissions, so I can get a subscription. But as of right now, it's back to the old dA format for me.
Life's been busy this summer. I didn't even open any commissions because I had to take a summer calculus class, which ended just last week. I move back into my dorm on Saturday, and school starts on Wednesday. I'll miss home and being lazy, but I'll be able to resume my job and earn money, and move further with my degree. I'll also take up crochet again, as a stress-relieving agent.
1.) How has your summer break been? How was your "art life?" 2.) What are your thoughts on "Core" Membership? 3.) If you are starting school/work again, are you hyped? Dreading it? 4.) Would you care to see my artwork other than finished dragon pieces? For example, sketches, messy stuff, my crafts, etc? If not, please tell me, I won't be offended.
